Edition 4: A New Conversation Begins!

The CPFR 2.0 Show and The magic of cereal.

Hi there,

Welcome to the July edition of bops newsletter.

This edition should only take you 120 seconds to finish - let's get into it!

_____

The CPFR 2.0 Show

July was the month when we officially launched our podcast, CPFR 2.0.

Who’s the host: bops’ co-founder and CEO, Jorge Risquez. If you know Jorge, you know he’s going to bring the passion – and the energy.

What you can expect: Each month, Jorge sits down for an honest, authentic, and inspiring conversation with CPFR and supply chain leaders - to get into the details of what it takes for consumer brands to succeed today.

Where you can listen: Listen by clicking right here. (P.S. we added timestamps to make it easier to navigate).

When new episodes air: Once a month.

Why we made it: Retailer and Supplier Collaboration is a hot topic right now, but the way it is approached today is broken and outdated. It’s not the responsibility of just sales, just CPFR teams, or just category managers. It’s the responsibility of all supply chain teams to work together to pull the rope in the same direction. When we looked around for a resource on how to do this, we couldn’t find anything. So, we made our own.

In our first episode, we dive into the definition of Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR), and break down its journey with supply chain legend, Rich Sherman.

Rich has over four decades of experience as a supply chain executive, internationally recognized author, and thought leader on trends and issues across supply chain management.

Tune in to the full episode here. (Our favorite part is at 11:03).
