Thank you joining us on this ride. Let's dive in!

_____

bops CPG x Supply Chain HH in NYC

What. A. Night.

It started with some rain. And ended up a truly memorable night for NYC’s CPG community.

So, what happened in between all that?

Well, there were amazing CPG entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders we got to meet, and delicious snacks and drinks from our partner brands that we got to try (and share with everyone).

For us at bops, it’s the combination of all these things that made our first such event in NYC a stand-out experience.

And it won’t be our last. Stay tuned for the next one. More information to come soon!

CPFR 2.0: Secrets to success in CPG

It’s no secret that we love CPG.

That’s why we’re building our podcast CPFR 2.0 - to learn from the best in today’s CPG world.

But, we’re not content to keep that knowledge for ourselves.

Which brings us to the 3rd episode of CPFR 2.0, where we talked real CPG tactics with Zach Reuvers, VP of Sales at Sambazon.

Think internal dynamics within fast-growing CPG brands, building relationships with major retailers, step-by-step tips for working with retail sales and marketing agencies, and more.

If you're short on time, our favorite part is at 24:21.

Let us know what you think, and share the pod with your friends!

Happening in Bentonville: Open Call

This past week, we were live from Bentonville, Arkansas, as Walmart hosted its tenth annual Open Call event, with more than 700 businesses from around the U.S. pitching their shelf-ready products made, grown or assembled in the U.S. to Walmart and Sam's Club reps.

Open Call is Walmart’s largest sourcing event, helping support it’s 10-year commitment to create American jobs through its $350 billion investment in items made, grown or assembled in the U.S.

Some of the notable brands who have successfully launched through Walmart’s Open Call program include Dude Products, Muddy Bites, and Sweety Ice Cream.

At this year's Open Call, more than 180 pitches resulted in “golden tickets” representing deals for brands like Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce and Fire Department Coffee to be on your local Walmart shelf in 2024!
